Tornadoes would be an exciting and immersive addition to Minecraft, bringing new depth to village life and world events. Instead of Nitwits, villages would gain Bellringers, a purposeful new villager profession whose job site is the bell itself. Five minutes before a tornado forms, Bellringers would frantically sound the alarm, giving villagers time to run indoors for safety—while other mobs ignore the warning entirely. Bellringers would also activate the bell at the start of raids, making them a reliable early‑warning system for multiple threats.
The tornado itself would be a dramatic but balanced event: it would hurl entities high into the air before slamming them back down, yet it wouldn’t destroy blocks, and any entity standing beneath a solid block would be protected. Breezes would spawn inside the storm, adding even more atmosphere and challenge. Hostile mobs would ignore the tornado, but passive mobs would run away frantically. You could avoid the tornado completely risk free, or have an incredible experience if you are up to the challenge, macing and spearing breezes in an epic sky battle. Each tornado would last for five minutes, creating a memorable, high‑stakes moment without overwhelming the game.
