As a Bedrock Beta/Preview tester on Android, I am requesting an important balancing update to the native natural regeneration mechanics.
Currently, Bedrock locks health regeneration to a flat speed of a half-heart every 4 seconds. This slow rate creates a massive disadvantage and a highly frustrating survival experience for mobile players dealing with touch controls. Surviving intense mob attacks in the Nether or engaging in active PvP fights becomes punishingly difficult because health cannot recover quickly enough, even when consuming top-tier food.
Proposed Solution: Please update Bedrock's regeneration math to either match Java’s saturation-driven fast-healing system or introduce a significantly faster baseline tick rate for natural healing. Speeding up regeneration when a player has a full hunger bar will fix this severe imbalance, making combat fairer and giving touch-control players a realistic chance to survive difficult situations.
