Backups

I'm a bedrock player whos recently switiched to Java and while there are many things better/improved on Java one thing is painfully worse. That is backups, every time I get good progress or am going to the nether or end I genrally make a save so I can reload if I sadly die a dumb death and lose alot of progress, which has happened to be about 2 hours ago. I have just spent over an hour and 40 mins trying to load up my backup of the world to get all my gear back after being yeeted of the edge of the world by the Ender Dragon, but I couldn't do it no matter how many tutorials or guide (INCLUDING your own) I still failed to reload my world and have since lost everything and are having to get it back can be annoying and time wasting. So if you could please please PLEASE change how back ups work so I could in future times get my stuff back or last save back that would be great. Really hope you do as if I were under the age of 13 (my age) I might not have any clue what to do about it. Please change it Sincerly, mangogremlin
