They could act like a fox (run away from you when you approach) and could steal, sometimes, something from your inventory, leave it on it's mouth and run away (just non-valuable items, specially fruits, vegetable and chicken meat)... It would be cute and funny!!

I thought of a cool idea where if you leave a chest out they will steal some of the stuff in it and if you tame it, you can send them to steal other players chests. Also if you get a name tag and name it jimothy it will look like jimothy.

I think there should be raccoon nests which are logs or wood with holes, and you can strip them like all wood. Also, nests for tamed raccoons could have a built-in cushion that you can dye different colors. Raccoons could be able to hide trinkets in their nests. They could be able to open chests and barrels, hit buttons, and pull levers. Tamed raccoons should be able to teleport to you or their nests (at sunset if they can't walk there before nightfall). 🦝

Continuing from my previous comment, tamed raccoons should be able to pass through the wood and nether brick fence formation, and to be able to open trapdoors unlike any current mob (to maximize ability to look for food). Also, if you tame a raccoon, and it already has trinkets in its nest, if you give it an empty bundle, it will go into its nest, and pack up its trinkets and will permit you to mine its nest and move it to your base, and you can craft tamed raccoon nests. A tamed raccoon nest is crafted by placing a raccoon nest in a crafting grid with a cushion below it. You can craft it with different colored cushions, or use dyes. To tame a raccoon you can use any food item including rotten flesh. If you have pufferfish in a chest or barrel, raccoons will not steal it. You can hide up to 3 trinkets in a raccoon nest, but raccoons only take certain things. Here's a list of what you can give them: nuggets of any kind, ingots of any kind, gems, amethyst and echo shards, clocks, compasses, empty bottles, redstone and glowstone dust, and any type of arrows. Raccoons should also be able to spawn in other biomes, but with a less common spawn rate than the mobs that generally spawn there. Raccoons could also steal empty bundles to pack up if they move homes or steal more food than normally. Raccoons should also wash their hands, food, and trinkets in water bodies.
