As a long-time Bedrock player, it is incredibly frustrating that our engineering community is held back by an inherently unreliable system that makes complex building a chore. Bedrock's unpredictable update order makes advanced engineering incredibly frustrating because a machine that works perfectly one second can randomly jam the next. Transitioning to Java’s deterministic system would fix this fatal flaw by ensuring every circuit fires in a strict, predictable sequence every single time. This parity change would also unlock essential competitive mechanics, such as quasi-connectivity for ultra-compact wiring and one-tick sticky piston block-dropping, which are vital for fast piston doors and flying machines. Ultimately, fixing Bedrock's broken mechanics bridges the gap between the two versions, allowing console and mobile players to finally use the massive library of existing Java tutorials without their builds failing due to random chance. It is time for Mojang to give Bedrock players the reliable, deep redstone system we deserve so we can finally create without limitations. What do you all think—is a total redstone rework realistic, or should we push for specific parity fixes first?
