1. 3x3 (and larger) Doors
Add support for doors that span a 3x3 area (or more), instead of being limited to a single 1x2 block. These would function like current doors — opening and closing on interaction or redstone signal — but scale up to fit larger builds, castle gates, garages, or mob-proof entrances. Ideally the size could be somewhat modular (2x2, 3x3, maybe even non-square like 2 wide x 3 tall) so builders aren't locked into one fixed dimension.
2. Sliding Iron Bar Door (Adjustable Size)
A new gate type built from Iron Bars that slides open/closed horizontally or vertically (like a portcullis or sliding jail door) instead of swinging. The key feature: size would be adjustable by simply adding more Iron Bar blocks to the structure — so placing additional bars extends the door's width or height, and the game recognizes the connected bars as one functional door. This would let players build anything from a small cell door to a massive prison gate, all using the same mechanic, without needing separate items for each size.
Together these would give builders much more flexibility for large-scale structures (castles, prisons, warehouses, mob farms) without relying on piston contraptions or redstone workarounds to fake multi-block doors
