The @minecraft/server-net API has been available in Minecraft Bedrock for quite some time, but only for BDS servers and it has to be enabled beforehand; it isn't available in single-player mode at all. That is why it would be helpful if this API were available everywhere single-player, multiplayer, Realms, etc. so that it could be used to develop new add-ons.
