When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Chest scales (heavy and light)

Using the weights (light and heavy pressure plates) and craft them with a little copper allowing you to use the Capacity of a chest or any Container. It works by seeing how many stacks their are in that container (maybe have a rail variety). If the scale is light variety it will check up to (equivalent to 15 item stacks ) 15 stacked and it will be powered all the way to fully 15. If it’s the heavy will check a bit more then a single stack about 115 worth or a (64) stack and 51 worth of items in the chest and make full power when all spot is filled up on the chest . Now for the ender chest you can’t really check for that since it’s so individual so an idea is to either only weight it when that chest is opened and weight that’s person chest of stuff or not do it since no one but the player should know that they have that many stuff but an option is great. Lastly it’s connection with items frame if you put an item in the item Frame then it can filter to those items.

    Maybe you could use a weighted (iron or gold maybe a later copper weighted pressure ) pressure plate on top and a trap chest in the middle and on the side copper.
    This would give copper and a the two mostly unused pressure plates and give them more uses.
