As I’ve watched a few minutes of gameplay using the new shader system, I saw how much the players and fans love Minecraft. Entire new games were created in the game itself, let it be using redstone in vanilla Minecraft, mods or even shaders in vanilla, as seen in PhoenixSCs video for example. Seeing this rampant increase in possibilities, I think the next logical step for Minecraft to stay alive in this increasingly monetizing world. I know many don’t want to hear, nor wanting it, but I am speaking toward Minecraft being seen as a gameplatform, like Roblox or Fortnite has become. Players always wanted new, unconventional stuff in the game, just look for 1.7.10 mods. Good times. And some players made it their challenge, to push vanilla Minecraft to its limits. And no matter how it is achieved, make it easier for players to mod the game! I see the vision of players using shaders to create interfaces “modded” into vanilla Minecraft. Do you want to “censor” their creativity? Doesn’t seem like a good idea, so let’s make it accessible to everyon, not just a fraction of the fan base that knows how to create something like that.
It is in everyone’s favor to make it more accessible.
Please don’t monetize. Minecraft for everyone
Kind regards fwl
