Cushions and armor stands should be changed because currently, if you put things like armor on display on an armor stand or put a cushion down in your survival base they will despawn if you go too far away from them and unload them. If they were differently coded, they could do one of the following:
1. The model of one of the said entities stays in the exact same position as the entity but the entity despawns when the player travels too far away from it, to then respawn just as it was when the player left when the player returns, including the armor on an armor stand.
2. The entire entity, model and all, despawns when the player travels too far away from it, to respawn in the same state as it was when the player left when the player returns.
Optionally, if that isn't doable, they could have entity and block variants and do one of the following:
1. The entity has a block version of the model placed inside of it when the player places it down, the entity invisible. When the player interacts with the visible model, the entity is interacted with and reacts. When the player travels too far from the block and entity, the block stays and the entity despawns, to respawn when the player returns.
2. The option above, but the block breaks as the entity despawns when the player travels too far away from it, to be placed again as the entity respawns when the player returns.
I understand that this can be challenging from a developer's perspective, and respect that, this is just an idea.
