The current Minecraft Bedrock mobile touch controls make advanced multi-finger gameplay difficult.
The Attack/Break and Use/Interact buttons are not fully separated from camera movement. When players use multiple fingers, touching or dragging these areas can unintentionally move the camera, causing problems with precise actions.
This affects players who use advanced layouts for:
- PvP
- Speedrunning
- Fast building
- Precise mining
Many mobile games allow players to separate camera control from action buttons. Minecraft Bedrock would benefit from a similar system.
Suggested improvements:
- Make Attack/Break and Use/Interact buttons completely independent from camera movement.
- Allow players to disable camera movement on specific buttons.
- Improve the custom control editor with more freedom for button placement and sizing.
- Add an advanced touch control mode for multi-finger players.
Mobile players have developed more advanced control styles over the years. More flexible touch controls would allow skilled players to play more comfortably and consistently.
Thank you for considering this improvement.
