So, for now we have:
A sword - universal weapon that combines both damage and attack speed,
An axe - slow, but more powerful weapon,
And spear, trident, bow, etc. weapons that are more specific in their use.
There are 3 tools that could get a combat improvement:
Shovel - critical strike can lead to stunning an enemy,
Pickaxe - critical strike can ignore some % of enemy's armor,
Hoe - just like a sword, it can make a swinging movements with greater range and damage (basically, it will be a scythe).
Shovel stun (enchant - rigidity) - crit strike may stugger enemy. If mob doesn't have any helmet, it stuggers it with 80-100% chance (and extra damage from stun itself), but if the mob has a helmet, depending on the grade of the it, it will reduce chances and damage (huge mobs, such as Iron Golem, Warden, etc. can't be stunned).
Pickaxe pierce (enchant - pierce) - critical strike with pickaxe may ignore some % of enemy's armor (depending on both pickaxe and armor grade). Side effect - shards (enchant - cracker) - the higher the pickaxe and armor grade - the more extra damage pierce will deal.
Hoe's swing (enchant - reap) - by left-clicking anywhere (even on the air), player makes a swinging move with a tool and it works just like sword's swing. Why is it needed? Baby zombos and other small mobs. Enchant increases the sector (attacking zone) of the tool. Successfull hit leads to combo (up to 3 hits), each hit deals extra 0.5-1 damage (and then it drops to normal).
