.Tube is designed to expand existing blocks, not replace them.
.Tube extends the transport range, Each Tube carries only one type of content at a time, determined by the block connected to its input. Tubes cannot branch, their rules are simple and consistent, and they are full blocks.
.Fluids: When connected to a Hopper, a Tube can switch to fluid mode and transport water or lava over long distances. The fluid does not need to physically flow through the entire path. Tube also lets players quickly switch which fluid comes out of the output.
.Light: A Tube can connect to a Daylight Detector and other light-related blocks. Instead of spreading light in all directions, it delivers directional light from its output. It could also become the foundation for future light-based mechanics.
.Sound:
A Tube can work with existing sound mechanics, such as Amethyst, allowing sound to become another transportable natural element. It could also introduce new interactions with existing blocks. For example, a Jukebox could use side connections as sound input and top or bottom connections as directional sound output. This is only one possible implementation—the exact behavior could be decided by the development team.
.I hope this idea is helpful and can make Minecraft’s gameplay even more diverse. Thank you for taking the time to read this suggestion.
