What if an update completely flips Minecraft combat? My "Crushing Depths" concept brings a true Tank/Control playstyle and expands world depth down to Y -128! To explore this deep end-game, players must mine through a new, ultra-dense layer called "Compacted Deepslate" to find a subterranean dungeon holding a powerful boss. Defeating this boss rewards the legendary Tungsten Warhammer (12 damage, 0.95 speed, 10,000 durability) equipped with a unique "Shockwave" ability: it pulls targets 1-5 blocks away into close range, while launching targets 5-10 blocks away backward by 6-10 blocks (25s cooldown). Mine heavy Tungsten Ore (2.5x rarer than debris) using a Netherite pickaxe. Process it using a vertical 3-block-tall Industrial Forge structure (Heater base, Core, and Vent) crafted from a blast furnace, iron, ancient debris, and netherite. It requires constant coal-gunpowder-sulfur fuel every 30s or it violently explodes! This machine requires vital cooling breaks because it radiates intense heat, melting environmental blocks in a 4-block radius in stages (Stone takes 2 stages to turn to lava; dense Iron blocks take 10-12 stages). Fusing Tungsten onto Netherite armor via smithing tables grants near-immunity to TNT and fire but applies a speed penalty, making Elytra flight impractical. Finally, upgrade your shield to a heavy Tungsten Shield to block 100% of any attack with total knockback resistance, usable for 5 seconds max before triggering a 10s fatigue penalty!
