Hi Mojang and Community,
Minecraft is amazing, but players are still split between Java and Bedrock. I propose a major update focused on Full Feature Parity and Native Crossplay to finally bring everyone together.
Key features of this update:
1. Feature Parity
Armor Stands: Give Java armor stands arms by default (like Bedrock).
Combat: Bring Java's combat (cooldowns & Sweeping Edge) to Bedrock, or unify the system.
Off-Hand: Allow Bedrock players to hold any item in their off-hand (torches, food, blocks).
2. Native Crossplay
Playing together currently requires complex third-party tools (like GeyserMC). Mojang should add an official, built-in system allowing:
Bedrock players to join Java servers/worlds.
Java players to join Bedrock worlds via Microsoft accounts.
Why this matters:
Minecraft is about community. Removing these barriers means friends won't have to buy different versions or devices just to play together. It would finally make Minecraft "one single game."
