Salt ore, blocks, and item

Salt ore can generate in mountains, on stony shores, and underwater in the ocean. When mined, you get 2-5 Salt. In a crafting table, place 9 Salt down to make the Salt Block, which looks like a light pink stone. This can be crafted into Chiseled Salt Blocks and Salt Bricks (with cracked variants) and Smooth Salt, and all of these can be turned into walls and slabs.

Also, when you use salt on an Infested block, it turns back into a regular block.

When used on Ice, it melts after 3-5 uses, while Packed Ice needs 6-12 uses. Blue Ice cannot be melted by Salt, and the amount needed to melt the other ice variants is slightly higher in cold biomes.

Using Salt on Frogs, Silverfish, and Endermites kills them after a few seconds.
