Affection Spirit (Cupid)

Hey Mojang studios!. I want to pitch a new mob concept that tackles the tedious routine of animal breeding while adding a fun risk-and-reward transformation mechanic.

Meet the Affection Spirit (Cupid), a helpful passive mob that can turn into a dangerous mini-boss if provoked.

Appearance & Passive Mode

  • Spawn: Cherry Groves and Flower Forests.

  • Look: A floating, pinkish-gold Allay-like mob holding a tiny bow.

  • Behavior: Hovers 6–8 blocks high. It fires Arrows of Love at matching passive mobs, instantly putting them into breeding mode. (Has a daily cooldown to prevent world lag).

 The Discord Spirit (Demon)

Since it flies high, you can't reach it with a sword. If shot with a bow or crossbow, the Affection Spirit (Cupid) screeches and morphs into the hostile Discord Spirit (Demon/Devil).

  • Combat: Turns dark burgundy with tattered wings. It shoots smoky Arrows of Rejection that deal damage, huge knockback, and Weakness while swiftly dodging in the air.

 Unique Drops

  • Arrows of Love (2–5): Uncraftable. Shooting two animals breeds them instantly without needing bait/food.

  • Feather of Discord (1–2): Used to craft Chaos Arrows which make hostile mobs fight each other instead of you.

  • Crystal Heart Shard (Rare): 4 shards craft an Affection Altar to speed up baby growth and repel monsters.
