The Swamp is still one of Minecraft’s flattest biomes. This update adds small, simple features that make it feel more alive while giving each addition a small use.
Frogs & Frog Lights Frogs now come in natural colour variants. Each colour produces a matching frog light, with one for every Minecraft colour so builds can match perfectly.
Breeding & Eggs Feed slime balls to breed frogs. Feed duckweed to fish, letting them lay eggs on lily pads. This creates a simple swamp food chain.
Swamp Villages Villages built on short stilts with docks and mossy wood houses. Fisher huts sell fish, reeds, and lily pads. Farmers trade swamp crops. Boatwright villagers sell cheap boats.
Lily Pad Variants Small, Large, Cluster, and Flowering pads. Flowering pads craft into swamp dye. Cluster pads slow boats slightly. Large pads support a single block.
Water Plants Cattails craft into paper. Duckweed feeds frogs and triggers fish eggs. Reeds smelt into charcoal or craft into parchment. Water moss has a high composting chance.
Parchment A simple writable item made from reeds, letting players write notes without a book and quill.
Water Mobs Mud Crabs drop mud shells for decorative bowls and eat duckweed. Swamp Eels drop eel meat and can be bucketed.
