I rather enjoy this idea as I grew up visiting the sequoia national park & have always found the grand scale of these trees to be very wonderous & inspiring. I could totally see myself living near or inside these trees as suggested by the original poster. I also believe this idea fits very well within the world of Minecraft as the standard large oak trees design was implemented from Paul Spooner's forester script that also added much larger scaled trees. These redwood/sequoia trees would obviously be different from mega trees of old & would better reflect the real world counterpart but the idea of larger trees has been accepted by the community in the past & with the larger scale of the world since 1.18 these redwood/sequoia trees would fit rather well. I also agree that this would be a good transition biome for certain areas like stony/jagged peaks, meadows, old growth spruce/pine, groves, etc but should not be very common, perhaps it could be a rarer biome like the mushroom or ice spikes biome. Along with the many mobs that would already fit will in this biome, the addition of brown/black bears could be added that would function similarly or the same to polar bears. I would really love to see this added to Minecraft at some point as I have a fond early memory of walking down Crescent meadow trail, my sister & I stopped by our mother to look out into the meadow & see two cubs & a mother bear looking back at us when the two cubs waved & walked back into the forest.
