Mojang we need to have a conversation. We have been playing Minecraft for a long time over ten years. We have done a lot of things in the game like going to the Nether beating the Ender Dragon and building cities with blocks.
There is still one thing that is a big problem for people who build things in Minecraft: the fact that we can only build horizontally.
Why can we only put slabs down flat? Is it because they are not strong enough? It does not make sense.
Think about all the things we could do if we had Vertical Slabs. The people who build things in Minecraft would be very excited.
We could make details like window trims that do not look too big.
We could make pillars that actually look good and do not leave gaps when they touch other things.
We could make thin walls to separate rooms without taking up much space.
I know Mojang has said that letting us build vertically would limit our creativity.. I do not think that is true. Using trapdoors as walls is not creative it is just frustrating.
If Mojang gives us Vertical Slabs it would be a thing, for everyone. We would be able to make things and Mojang would be remembered as the people who made it happen. We should be able to turn the slabs
If you want to be able to build a house with walls then you should like this idea. Minecraft players want to be able to build things that look good. Vertical Slabs would help us do that. We want to build houses with walls that're the right size.
