Cheaper shelves and trapdoors

Shelves have a conversion rate of 1:1 stripped logs to shelves, but considering that a shelf takes up roughly 1/4 of a full (stripped log) block it would be nice to see this changed to a 16 recipe, like iron bars. This same issue also exists for trapdoors which have a conversion rate of 3:1 planks to trapdoors, which feels insane for the size of trapdoors. The reason these recipes should be made easier is because neither the materials, the amount of materials, nor the product is rare, and it just makes the entire building process more annoying when these items are excessively expensive.
