Make the cushions not break if it's in a transparent block

I think it would be cool if when you put the cushion down and push something on it like glass and grates it would stay. I think the new functionality of the cushion is awesome with them being able to be put on any full flat surfese and in blocks that aren't full blocks, but I think adding this would just lead to even more creativity with a block like this.

    I could see this being great for glass museum style cases and fake brightly coloured liquid in grates :)

    I agree with you. It would allow for even more creative designs.
    I hope you don't mind if I make a post on r/minecraftsuggestions, and link to your post, so people vote here. I wanted to show some of the designs that I came up with, so people will see the potential of this suggestion.

    I'd like to list here more blocks that meet the criteria:

    • glass blocks (including stained and tinted);
    • copper grates;
    • leaves;
    • mangrove roots;
    • ice, frosted ice;
    • slime block;
    • beacon;
    • spawners (monster and trial), vault.

    This post is lovely, it'd make so many things possible! Saw this on r/minecraftsuggestions and I'd do anything to put brown cushions into leaves to build makeshift trellises
