Hello, Minecraft Team!Currently, the Bedrock Edition lacks a native proximity (3D) voice chat. While Java Edition players can easily use third-party mods for this, Bedrock creators face a hard platform limitation.Right now, Add-ons (.mcpack / .mcaddon) have no permission or API to access the device's microphone. Because of this, it is technically impossible to create a custom 3D voice chat system that works across mobile, console, and PC platforms. My Suggestion:Please expand the Add-on API / Scripting API to grant optional microphone access permissions. Alternatively, consider implementing a native vanilla Proximity Voice Chat feature for Bedrock Edition that creators can toggle or tweak via behavior packs. This change would bring huge value to roleplay servers, multiplayer worlds, and bring Bedrock closer to parity with Java's popular modded features!
