Hi Mojang,
I suggest three crucial parity and freedom improvements for Bedrock Edition to empower creators and multiplayer communities.
Combat Cooldown: Bringing Java's weapon attack cooldown to Bedrock would replace spam-clicking with tactical combat. It balances weapon scaling (Axes vs. Swords) and adds strategic depth to PvP/PvE.
Full Off-Hand Support: Bedrock players should hold any item or tool in the left hand, not just shields or maps. Full off-hand support is essential for survival efficiency (holding torches while mining) and allows developers to create complex, hardcore simulation mechanics in custom add-ons.
Unrestricted Server Access: Console users (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch) shouldn't be locked out of external IP servers. Removing this limit and allowing all platforms to join custom external servers freely would greatly boost independent cross-play networks and dedicated role-playing worlds.
These changes would close the Java-Bedrock gap and give technical players the freedom they need. Thank you!
