People who play with lots of mods will have some issues. Some mods add dozens of custom keybinds, and managing all of them becomes extremely hard. When running large modpacks with hundreds or thousands of mods, the Controls menu fills with hundreds of unique custom keybind entries. Scrolling through this massive list to find a specific action (like opening a minimap) or locate conflicting duplicate hotkeys wastes huge amounts of time. I request adding a search bar to the top of the Java Edition Controls menu with two filter modes, matching the search UI Mojang already uses for language menus, resource packs, and the creative inventory:
1. Text search: Type the name of any bind action to filter matching entries.
2. Physical key lookup: Press a dedicated button, then hit any keyboard key — instantly show every single keybind assigned to that key to quickly resolve hotkey conflicts.
This simple UI quality-of-life tweak would help thousands of modded Minecraft players. Many people desperately need this feature.
