The Frosty Taiga is a new cold forest biome that I think should be added to Minecraft. The Frosty Taiga is one of the rarer biomes, almost as rare as a Mushroom Island. You would want to go to this biome because of the unique features it boasts. This biome is the only place you can find Blue Spruce Trees in the wild. These new trees are like regular Spruce Trees, but they have icy blue leaf blocks, blue-gray bark, and pale, ice-blue planks (the planks could be pale yellow if that’s what Mojang wants). These trees would be a great addition to the wood types of Minecraft. Therefore, one reason to add the Frosty Taiga and its features is the addition of more blue wood in the game, as currently we have only the Warped wood. The Frosty Taiga would also feature Permafrost, a block that is found underground in patches surrounding a bone block or fossil structure. Permafrost requires at least a Copper Pickaxe to mine. The Permafrost Patches also generate with scattered Suspicious Gravel. The gravel can drop a new music disc, 1 of 3 new Pottery Sherds, an Artifact, and other Suspicious Gravel loot. Finally, if treasures and trees aren’t enough for you to travel to this biome, how about the Northern Lights? The Northern Lights will be a weather-like feature in this biome (and possibly all cold biomes) that can occur at night. I think it would be amazing with Vibrant Visuals. Please vote!
(I go into detail on all new items and blocks in other posts. I’ll name them in the comments)
