I propose an organic "Structure Decay" system that activates when a player stays away from a structure (outside of its chunk range) for a long time. This adds huge realism and a sense of passing time to survival mode:
βDay 20: Light cobwebs and vines start to appear on the structure. π
βDay 50: Cobwebs and vines expand, making the building look truly abandoned. ποΈ
βDay 100: The structure begins to decay. Every 5 days, 1 random block disappears. π₯
βDay 300 (The Safeguard): The decay completely stops! The building remains frozen as a permanent "Ancient Ruin" so the player's hard work is never fully destroyed. π‘οΈ
βNew Item - Cleaning Brush:
Crafted using 1 Hay Bale and 2 Sticks (vertically). Players can right-click with the brush to clean cobwebs/vines, repair the structure, reset the decay timer, and get their materials back! The brush has durability and will break after multiple uses. πΎπͺ΅π§Ή
