I would like to improve the savanna biome and make it feel like a real ecosystem.
Add hyenas, vultures, giraffes, scorpions, Komodo dragons, new fish in lakes, parrots, and armadillos.
Hyenas should hunt parrots and armadillos. They can break an armadillo's shell before eating it.
Scorpions should live underground and sometimes come out from small holes in the ground to attack the player. There should also be a small chance that when an armadillo comes out of its burrow, a scorpion comes out behind it and stings it.
Komodo dragons should drink water with their tongues, swim in lakes, and hunt fish. The fish should try to escape, so they are not easy to catch.
Giraffes should be peaceful and spend their time eating leaves from acacia trees. Parrots should perch on acacia trees and build straw nests with eggs.
Vultures should fight parrots for their eggs. If the player leaves raw meat on the ground, vultures should take it away. Vultures should be neutral and only attack if the player hits them first.
Add new fish that only live in savanna lakes to make the biome more unique.
These animal interactions would make the savanna feel alive and much more realistic.
