The Idea: Currently, placing 6 wool blocks over a centered stick crafts a vertical Banner. I suggest that moving the stick to the bottom-left or bottom-right corner of the crafting table should craft a Horizontal Flag.
How it Works:
It uses the exact same materials (6 wool, 1 stick).
The recipe layout perfectly mirrors a traditional flag on a flagpole.
It could use the same Loom mechanics and dye patterns already built for banners, but display them horizontally.
Why this adds value:
Enhanced Building: Players could finally create realistic castles, pirate ships, and golf courses with flags that stick out sideways from walls and fences.
Intuitive Crafting: It builds naturally on Minecraft’s "visual" crafting logic (like how stairs or doors look like their recipes).
Low Developer Overhead: Since banner customization and dye layers already exist, this simply requires a new horizontal block model rather than a completely brand-new system.
