Ender Chests should have a late-game storage upgrade

I think Minecraft should add a late-game way to increase Ender Chest storage.

This would be especially useful on vanilla multiplayer servers that do not use claims or heavy protection plugins. On those servers, players often have no good way to protect important items from theft except keeping everything on them or hiding it somewhere else.

I am not asking for infinite storage or huge amounts of safe space. I just think Ender Chests could have a late-game upgrade that expands their storage a little, for example after reaching the End.

This would give normal survival servers a better built-in way to protect important items, without needing to balance the entire system around anarchy gameplay.
