Many people associate think of Maple as a large, sturdy and cozy tree. Maples would be found in poplar forests, mixed forests and plains. Maples would be less common but they would be taller and branched like large Oaks. Maple leaves would be darker and warm than Oak leaves which would bring more contrast to the forests. A new Maple wood set would be added to the game with a planks color that would match the terrain between Birch and Maple or Jungle tree and Acacia.
Poplar Mansion would be a new mysterious and cozy building in a poplar forest. It would resemble a Woodland mansion but there would be no Illagers. The Mansion would be abandoned and would have monster spawners, spider webs, libraries, bedrooms and research rooms, but some rooms would tell the story of the man who lived in the manor who loved puzzles. The Mansion could be restored and used as a base. The Mansion would have a semicircular lobby and corridors that would cover the entire building. the lobby has hidden passages and secret rooms. Poplar wood would be too stiff on its own, so Spruce and Maple could bring more warm tones to the building.
The poplar forest would benefit from something more: a Mysterious Mansion and an atmospheric Maple tree. I want a manor for the game, as the poplar biome lacks a structure that offers exploration, mystery, and style (and a place players can restore into their own base). The Maple add richer of color to the woods, and its warm-hued leaves bring a welcome warmth to gardens.
