Make Minecraft Endermen More Forgiving

I wouldn't look a psychotic crackhead in the eye.

Majority of my builds involve housed Enderman (against my will). I don't mind their block placements, but there needs to be a mechanic that influences Enderman behaviour in a way that makes them more sympathetic to player behaviour within builds.

I understand that Endermen are based on Slenderman, and they add a horrific element to the world, but all they do is re-place blocks--I consider it creative expression. I feel this way about Creepers too, and let them explode (with a shield) to develop the earth in the way that is harmonic with the generation of Minecraft.

I just want my home to feel safe.
