Macing From Horseback

Maybe this suggestion would have been better before Mounts of Mayhem came out, but better late than never, right?

I think that the mace's smash attack should always be activated when on horseback. When mounted, the player is higher than grounded enemies, which naturally suggests the use of a gravity based weapon. Furthermore, macing from horseback was an actual tactic used by knights, allowing them to reign crushing blows from above without getting tangled in a mele on the ground. The damage delt would only be that of the smallest smash attack, but with density or breach, or if you jumped the horse, that would quickly ramp up.

Overall this addition would make mounted combat even more attractive, adding a tactic to use if faced with an army of heavily armored enemies that you can't just mow down with a spear. Now if horses could just become a little tougher; then a mounted warrior on the battlefield would truly be something to fear.
