Have an alternative option to get Allays.

In the newest Minecraft: Preview build, the Allay was added into Minecraft. One concern I had is that in multiplayer, the Allay could become extremely rare with no way to breed them or get them from other means other than structures. So, I propose a new solution, make it so you can cure a Vex to get an Allay. Allays and Vexes are very similar mobs, but one of them was corrupted by the Illagers. This would fit well into the lore, and would be great for servers with a border. Maybe if you do a raid and a vex is aggressive towards you, you can splash it with a potion of weakness and a golden apple. If a vex is aggressive at you, it would be flying through walls, making it very difficult to splash. There is also a very high chance of death, as they do a lot of damage to you, even with Netherite armor. Don't forget, you could always splash yourself with the weakness by accident, making it even riskier. This would only work if it wasn't in a boat or minecart, to prevent easy "cheeses".  After 5 minutes, it would convert to an Allay.

 

TLDR: Curing an aggressive Vex that isn't in a boat, with a golden apple and a Weakness potion, should give spawn another Allay.

    This would be great for both lore and gameplay, and would solve the server running out problem.  Completely agree

    SimplySarc had a good idea that you could cure them with amethyst. His reasoning was that it makes a calming musical sound, so placing a whole bunch of amethyst around a vex would cause it to become relaxed, and loose it’s corruption. It also gives amethyst another use.
