biome transitions

i would love if minecraft had better biome transitions, given that most of the biomes, if not divided by a river, will just be right next to the other (for example: a desert being right next to a plains biome)

i believe biomes with similar temperatures should be right next to each other instead, with atleast a 50 to 100 blocks transition zone
