The new biomes (E.g. dappled forest to-come) have lots of unique stuff, like special mobs, ground flora, detailed trees, etc. It’s cool and all, but it’s way fancier in ratio to old biomes like the plain old forest biome, which has like, nothing but trees and grass. Kinda boring. But I think a good way to make other old biomes have the detail and creativity as the new ones do, would be to do something as simple as adding a few new things to old biomes, or adding, for example, shelf mushrooms from the dappled forest (if it’s added) to the regular forest biome as well. This would make biomes maybe feel a little similar, and not feel so alien to each other (the color of the sulfur caves/dappled forest seem very contrasted to the plain/simple colors of other biomes).
