Separate saplings for the different poplar wood tree colors

We should get a separate sapling for the red poplar trees, orange poplar trees, and yellow poplar trees

  Wouldn’t that be redundant though? I guess I don’t understand why a single tree would have multiple saplings.

  Don’t get me wrong, I would also prefer to choose the leaf color via sapling rather than the tree / leaf generation being random; however, I think it would be ideal / amazing for the new biome if we had 3 distinct trees each with their own iconic log / wood planks, iconic leaf color, and generation style. 
  
  

  Personally, id prefer to see the red leaves be Maple trees and the yellow leaves be Aspen trees, then Poplar trees can keep the orange leaves and current sapling.

  I agree that it'd be ideal to have different wood types (especially maple) for individual saplings, but since the azalea tree has its own sapling with no unique wood type, I don't think it should be entirely out of the question.

  Purely from a utility standpoint, it would be much preferred if I wasn't playing a slot machine every-time I specifically want, for example, red leaves for a build. The only dissent to this idea I can think of is contributing to inventory clutter, but I'm personally fine with 2 additional saplings if it means I don't end up with shulkerbox upon shulkerbox of undesired leaves.
