Add a new (kind of) green wood. The wood would start an orange-yellow and grow moss like how copper oxidizes when the inside is exposed to air in its original or lush cave biome (this would be the green part of the functionality). To freeze the stage, you would use resin instead of wax (this could have a cool melting process to apply). Mossy wood would have all the same blocks as a normal wood set. The wood set blocks would also grow moss too(except the wood because it's all bark). The logs on the trees wouldn't grow moss on the outside (the bark), and the bark would be a darker shade of oak log's bark and have little patches of moss for detail, but the exposed part of the wood, if it's cut, would moss-idize (grow moss). Stripped logs would grow moss since there's no bark. To biome page: https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/46847783809677-Biome-for-Mossy-Green-Wood
