Orangutans can be found lounging in the jungle with their baby variants and you can trade with them as a sort of overworld version of piglin bartering using bananas instead of gold. To make it more interesting I think bananas could also be used for slip-pers that are made with bananas and leather to make boots that give you a sort of ice affect everywhere you go and the orangutans can give you a special item that leads you to the nearest jungle temple, but more specifically a new jungle temple. I think any kind of rework on a jungle temple would be great but my idea is a labyrinth underneath the temple that has a puzzle room, once you solve the puzzle you can get great rewards but if you mess up the puzzle or try to cheat it the room fills with lava and the rewards are burned in the process.
