It's so hard to attack or do anything. At least you can change it back in settings.

I’ve been using the new touch control. But I have a hard time interacting with villagers. I am unable to “trade” with them. I’ve tried tapping on them but I end up punching them. The “trade” button doesn’t automatically pop up when the villager is centered in the screen.

Ive been using the new Touch Controls on my Iphone SE.  version 1.19.40.  I prefer the touch controls over the crosshair controls.  My only issue seems to be the interaction with mobs.  Specifically villagers.  I find it very difficult to have the "trade" button pop-up so I can open the Trade GUI along with any mob that I interact with such as horse or Lama.  I cannot find the specific position on the screen to center the mob to interact with it.  Also because the mob is constantly moving around it becomes extremely difficult.

half the time I end up punching the villager or horse.  It should be the moment the villager is centered on the screen and within a couple of blocks the interact button should appear, or the sword button switches to a interact button.

Terraria could be a good source of inspiration, but the jumpbridging and pvp is amazing. The old wasd-like arrows are good because with joystick I sometimes have troubles with sprinting on 1 block wide bridge.

We should be able to move the buttons, change their size, opacity, and allow them to go off the screen. ( If you look at any mobile FPS games, nearly every one has these options ). The configuration you have them in now is just in general bad. They are uncomfortable to use and they are hard to press since we are basically forced to play claw ( using 3 or 4 fingers ) with them ( Most people who play claw make the buttons pretty big and opaque so they don't accidentally miss the button but still being able to see behind it. The button also tends to go off the screen since accidentally hitting the edge of the screen because you can't put the button there is infuriating.

I would also like to see an option to be able to change the sprint to hold instead of toggle and being able to change the joystick to move at max walking speed ( similar to how you can use wasd on pc to move 100% walking speed instantly ).

Looking at these other suggestions, a shift click action to quickly craft the maximum you can or quickly move something into your inventory would be pretty cool. This could be just another button we can customize that would only appear in the crafting or inventory interfaces. Another one would be an F5 button to quickly change the perspective since that is a bit tedious on mobile.

In the end, the controls are a step in the right direction but there is a lot that can be improved.

Odio los nuevos controles, me parecen súper incómodos y poco prácticos. Prefiero los antiguos.
Propongo agregar la opción de utilizar los anteriores de cruceta e indicador a la lista.

Well it's more getting used to the new touch settings than anything else but I'm so used to the classic way on where the buttons are lower than the new touch settings. I think I can get used to the new controls with enough practice. I even feel like a noob with the new touch controls though

I saw the new controls and and i must say that the joystick is terrible, please make an option for the classic 4 buttons and we should also be able to change the positions of the crouch & jump buttons also there should be buttons for switching the point of view(f5) and for debug menu(f3) i know the debug isn't in bedrock edition but you should add it. Also we should be able to adjust the sizes of the buttons. And i hope that you are going to add the offhand feature to minecraft bedrock edition.

I would like to have a fourth option to have the D-Pad with the in-game crosshairs always visible.

HORRIBLE UPDATE. REVERT CONTROLS TO THE OLD WAYS. I CANNOT PLAY THE GAME THIS WAY. I HAVE PLAYED AND LOVED THIS GAME FOR 5 YEARS. THIS CONTROL UPDATE IS NOT ONLY UGLY BUT UNNEEDED IN EVERY REGARD. YOU HAVE GENUINELY RUINED THE GAME WITH THIS ONE.

I think there should be an option to not use any of the new touch controls because it has an original bedrock iPad player I think it’s kind of too hard to use the new touch controls.

Please bring back the option to have the d-pad along with the arrow it was a great feature and after many years of playing I don’t enjoy the joystick it makes it very unpleasant to play. And it’s plausible since the d-pad with the tap to interact still exist why not keep both in and add more options for others.

You guys at Minecraft hq really need to fix this. The old controls have worked for so long, and I’ve never seen anyone complain about it, there isn’t really something that needs to be fixed. If you’re going to ruin the controls, at least let the classic option have the ability to keep the crosshair. Currently the only option for classic controls is the touch option, and as someone who has always used the crosshair, it’s really hard to play using touch. You’ve had the option to play with the classic controls with crosshairs in game for so long, and it seems kind of stupid to just take it away. My suggestion is to add a crosshair option for classic controls, or to fix what you just broke.

I do not like the new touch controls. I want the original touch controls to be updated to have a more simple appearance like the new controls. Could we also have a button that temporarily changes the viewpoint to see anything behind you?
