    I know I said I'll leave
    But, remember about the axis

    Some weirdos prefer to invert the axis of the movement or looking around on joysticks..... So remember to put that in..... It this makes it to the final game!

    Having the ability to choose between the joypad the the buttons in settings would be the best imo. Also the ability to move the location of the movement pad would be great (big screen and tiny hands dont work well).

    As with the buttons, the crouch button would work best as a toggle. The fight button feels out of place but would help with more precise actions. I feel like having the ability to move and change the size of the buttons though settings would be AMAZING.

    There should be a way to let us decide where we want the new buttons be in. Especially the jump button. It will be really annoying to pvp or even just play the game with the jump button being in that position. Therefore, we should be able to control the size and position of the new buttons in order for better gameplay. Thanks!

    The ability to move the buttons would help tremendously. The "fight" button keeps getting in the way of looking around when I've got my hand/thumb situated to quickly use the "hand"/action button. Also, the joystick is way too big. I feel like I've got to slide my thumb half way up my screen in order to walk at full speed. Overall though I love the concept and that there's not just one universal "touch the screen" for all actions.

    How about a separate slot just beside the hot bar (like in Java) making 10 slots

    And when it's empty, the secondary hand is not in use
    But putting an item from the hot bar or inventory in it like a shield... Will equip it instantly with pop-up buttons on the left hand side designated just for the off hand....(eg, attack and place block Incase it's something like a block or pickaxe in the off hand)

    Since some people still prefer the touch controls for the main reason that joysticks prevent them from determining that they are moving in one straight direction.....

    How about this, we have both joystick and dpad...... But combined

    Hear me out first...
    So the main control is a joystick which can be moved around, but when pointing in a specific direction.....(up, down,left, right) we have a soft indication.... Anything from the rim of the circle surrounding the joystick lighting up or a soft vibration, like that of typing on Gboard (Android)

    Anything to tell the Minecraft player that "we are now strafing directly east or west, or walking directly north or south" with no deviations).

    Or

    Or the joystick have a very soft(emphasis on "a very soft") lock mechanism indicated by a vibration when we are moving directly towards any 4 points....and another softer vibration when we come off the directional movement and stray o Abit (whether intentional or not)

    Along with my two joysticks idea of before! (Doesn't have to apply to the second one tho)

    How I imagine it can be improved for current mobile players is that the control stick could be made smaller and more aligned with our current arrows, and the jump and sneak could also be more like where they currently are but maybe slightly more to the right?
    For crosshair play the attack and interact buttons are right above the jump and sneak buttons in whatever order works best.
    In between jump and sneak on the right could be the sprint button.
    Since there already are so many buttons, you may as well add a pick block button in between the jump button and the lower attack/interact button.
    If you're adding dual wielding there could be a button above the pick block button. It could work like each item can only do it's main purpose, for example holding a block would place the block, holding a tool would mine/attack and holding food would eat it.
    While you're at it could you add a 3rd person button next to the emote button?
    Some general improvements could be the new buttons scaling more correctly with the menu/chat/emote buttons, and you should be able to scale the current control stick thing
    And finally I think there should be a touch crosshair combo which would work like normal touch control, but with a crosshair and all the new buttons for finer adjustments

    I made a mock image that would help explain this visually, but I don't know where to post it...

    Hope you take this into consideration :]

    These new controls are exactly what i wanted now i can play using the crosshair mode. Only a few things are needed to make it perfect.
    1. The ability to move the action buttons on the right
    2. A button along the top next to the pause and emote button that will toggle player perspective just like the F5 button.

    That is all i wish for.

    ...there should be a separate joystick just for looking around so that players don't have to carry out other actions if they only want to manipulate the crosshair position.... Eg,(using left joystick to walk-in no sprint- and using right separate joystick to look around only)..... While the three other buttons have separate joysticks for carrying out these actions while moving around
    I just feel that people have a singular idea of what mobile controls should be, like conforming to physically ideas of controllers ( have 2 joysticks and have every button carry out only one specific action but still be easy to access

    This is a mobile game, with a virtual joystick layout...... Make buttons carry out what ever the game requires......

    It'll do better for the game than trying to recreate the PS4/Xbox experience with a smaller screen and less buttons
    Just put in the looking around with those 3 buttons with a separate joystick just for looking around in a beta and see what reactions you have...

    I really believe it'll be positive for anyone who like Minecraft's ability to multitask (placing blocks and jumping while looking around like with mouse and keyboard)
    If it gets into a beta and no one likes it, you can remove it completely and scrap this whole idea
    But I really believe this it the answer y'all have been looking for when it comes to doing gameplay right!

    In my perfect Minecraft, since double tapping an item in the hotbar already carries out an action (highlighting said item hotbar a different color and creating a pop-up button to drop that item or drop one of that item[if stackable] and pressing and holding already drops the entire stack.and tapping again will remove pop-up button and return to normal highlighting (white) to use off hand feature, you'd have to first tap on the off hand hotbar (10th one) which will highlight it and tap an item from the other 9 to place that item in that hotbar and therefore in the off hand. If an item is already in off hand, tap 10th hotbar again (off hand) and tap any other hotbar with item in it to switch the two items position in hotbars. If any of the other 9 are empty, to take an item out of off hand, tap 10th hotbar and tap any other empty one to remove item and place in selected hotbar (with the same drop item mechanics working for off hand hotbar- double tap to drop item out of stack or tap and hold to drop full item/stack) and also the pop-up button on the left hand side of screen (attack/place) only for off hand.... And if shield is equipped in off hand.....buttons disappear and shield is toggled with a crouch (as normal)
    If any Idea I come up with contradicts previous ones, just use newer ones
    It's only after reading other comments and thinking again, do I realize that there's way more peoples need to include and a better way to redo controls

    They should change the location of the sprint button instead of being at the top right corner it should be at the top of the joystick for better control. Another things that they should change is to lower the jump, sneak, attack button, and interact button because all old Minecraft players get used to tapping the jump button in the lower right.

    I really love the new controls but make the joystick smaller and add the ability to change the position of the buttons and please consider the off hand feature for bedrock edition since there is new controls for mobile and please add a button where you can drop the item in your hand please thank you.

    The ability to customize and change the position of the buttons just like the other games is a great addition to the Minecraft,More button can be added when the offhand slot will make in the game,New tab in the settings that you can customize your control ,so you can make the button bigger or smaller you want and you can lower the oppacity of it.In addition of button i will recommend a few useful button like easy access to prespective,hud,gamemode and the features of java that bedrock want in the game like debug,chunk borders,hitboxes.All of this are optional to the player if they want it to put on their game,but for me it's really helpful for other survival players like me.❤

    We should able to move it any where the control should be more customizable we should able to hold the button and drag it instead of the fixed place and break/attack it will make it easy for aim like pc

    In my humble opinion, I like the new concept for the new touch controls, although the sprint button somewhat bothers me. The arrow on the sprint button is pointing to the right. However, when you click that button, it does not sprint to the right, but instead sprints forward, which can be confusing.
    In simple words, I think it would be better if you'd adjust the sprint button arrow to point upward/forward because it makes a lot more sense.
    Oh, and it would also be cool if there is another mode/interaction model where walking, sprinting, attacking, crouching, jumping, flying, swimming, breaking, placing, and using blocks and items have separate buttons. And of course a button to change perspective, quickly drop items (one-by-one) and shift-click (aka quick craft)

    Please give us the ability of customizable button placement and opacity. As well as maybe a button for the elytra for take off because the way it is now it is impossible to take off from water or lava on mobile.

    I’ve been trying out the allay and can’t interact with it at all, the current way of having the interact button show up above the hotbar seems finicky. I see the “Allay” button pop up but it disappears just as quickly before I can press it because of how the allay moves away. It has worked alright with slower moving mobs like villagers, but I think there could be a better, more consistent way of interacting with mobs.

    A way to change to F1 and F5 would be great and a way to move and resize all buttons as in a button to move around and resize buttons (to what we want) For Example: Have the jump button on the right, joystick on left, F1 and F5 and sneak at top right. And maybe Pause, chat and emotes top left
