    I think this is a perfect change for us mobile players to finally match with the pc and console players

    I would like the buttons to be customizable as in changeable size and location like in other games

    Would also like to add new features buttons like f5 and F1 for bedrock this would make it super easy

    Also for pearls and throwable items would like it to be throwed in one touch with a click which don't take time for charging

    The joystick make it fully circular

    There are people who may want to play with dpad so it should also be an option with the additional keys

    For interacting with mobs the clicks should be active

    Make arrangements styles for the controls when you release customizable controls and communitys most best arrangements would make it into the game

    And mojang I'm super loyal to Minecraft and your company that I litterally play no other games other than Minecraft this is my hopes and dreams thanks for adding this as I only play with mobile and feel bad that pc players have features so we need to close the gap between pc and mobile

    The Jump, Crouch button should be down just like where the old jump button was located, because to reach those buttons on big screen phones is hard. Or maybe a new way to customise the positions of the buttons?

    Also for New Split Controls the Place and Break/shoot buttons should be near the Jump and Crouch buttons.

    just like how buttons are placed by default in shooting games.

    I suggest that there should be an optional settings to add a SECOND joystick on the right side of the screen that is made for moving the camera or changing the directions we are looking, etc. that would make it much easier to move around in mobile and helps so much in Pvp and fighting against mobs.

    Please allow more optional buttons on the crosshair feature to easily switch from first person perspective or third person perspective. Also allow players to adjust the opacity of the buttons and joystick.

    new touch control is good. However, i guess button which suppose to place block should also break block as well instead of two different button for placing and breaking and for off hand their should be different button which does same place and break but that button only appear when there is block or anything in off hand. joystick is smooth but for sprinting extra button doesn't do too much. therefore, i would say when joystick (round thinge) is push to the edge then character sprint or if player move that joystick (round thinge) that to edge and release and push again within few seconds. character should sprint

    I really love the way mcpe team is going with getting changes in controls. I just want to suggest a customizable hub option on top of touch setting that can be used to move the buttons on screen wherever u want, change their size and change their opacity and stuff. I am actually happy that control changes are coming, please try to implement the things mentioned above and whole community will be happy. U can take inspiration on costumizable hub from games like codm, pubg mobile.

    I feel the buttons on the right side are a bit too high for my liking (on iPad). I think having an option to adjust the positions of the buttons are a good idea. Other than that I welcome the new control schemes!

    Giving us the ability to add some buttons on the screen that make us do things like the other devices can do (drop items, change camera perspective...) and choose their places will be a great idea

    I think the new control scheme feels mostly comfotable, I like the placement of most actions buttons, however I would like if the jump button could be lower down where it is easier to reach or maybe even make it customizable where the action buttons are placed

    Maybe add a button for changing perspectives. It's tedious that I have to mess with the settings just to switch to third person and then change it back to first person again.

    Please add the ability to move the buttons to your likings and the ability to resize them individually. Why? A player's needs and playstyle can differ from one to another, also not to mention the fact that everyone has a unique shape and size of hands, sometimes the default buttons position is just not good enough. So, by implementing this feature, the player can customize the buttons to fit their needs and be more comfortable playing the game.

    Also something i found on the new crosshair mode, i noticed that you cannot move your crosshair while pressing the breaking or placing button. I hope this will get fixed soon

    So I got many ideas -
    1. Add an option to customise control in mobile device.
    2.make a thing where we can jump consistently while holding jump.
    3.Add a button to toggle perspective fast
    4.The joystick needs some graphical improvement and some tweaks.

    add an toggle in new touch controls which replace the new joystick with old one because in previous joystick we can go strait and that was very good and another thing is that the jump sneak attack ...

    It's lacking, it would be great if the buttons can be relocated since the best place on screen for people depend on their devices and the way they hold their device. Also being able to resize every button to a different size and change transparent would make it even greater.

    When touching the new attack button in the new touch control it take a small time to respond.

    Adding an option to activate pick up block will help in survival and creative.

    Lastly add a button to change perspective will help in fight and normal gameplay

    add a special button to start the elytra in the classic and the two new options in order to make flying easier on mobile devices will be very useful instead of having to go to a high place or when you fall in the middle of the ocean or lava

    Add to the classic and touch option. The sword button, when you press it, will turn you into combat mode, where you will not be able to open things that open, such as chests and ovens. When you are fighting with mobs or friends or in servers it will be useful if you accidentally click on a chest or something it will not open and you can continue fighting

    hi.
    After much scrutiny, I have analysed a few critical improvement points for the joystick control scheme. 1. With the Classic controls, using swap jump and sneak, I could continuously and fluidly sprint jump by moving my thumb from the forward button down to the jump button directly below it, and back up in one motion and repeat. Since one hand should be used for movement and the other for attack (left to move, right to attack for righties), my proposal is for jump to activate when the joystick (your thumb) is quickly moved up and down in one motion outside the joystick circle, toggleable of course. 2. As for the current jump button, it should continuously jump when held down, similar to keyboard. 3. There is a bug involving static mode + move to sprint where it skips from slow walk to sprint. There is no normal walking speed phase. 4. A common suggestion by the other commenters, there should be custom placement and more customisability of the buttons as seen in other mobile games, like Soul Knight (not sponsored). 

    Additionally, a few noteworthy bugs and features for mobile: 1. screen glitch on mobile (not tested if still present). 2. text copy and pasting and better text editing (useful for command blocks and book and quills). 3. adjustable hold delay before a projectile is thrown or an action activates because I find it too slow.

    Otherwise, this was an amazing implementation of features I was looking for, such as better sprint mechanisms.

    The new controls are amazing in their potential. I can't wait to see how they evolve! I'm almost giddy at the thought of offhand uses! Here are my thoughts regarding improvements.

    I normally play with 40 Sensitivity; I had to crank it to 100 to look around even remotely as well as I like.

    I would *LOVE* to see the Show Action Buttons option on the Touch interface. Along with that, using the Jump and Place actions in quick succession is difficult since they are on the same side. I'd like to see the Left/Right "click" actions separated from jump/crouch so they can be used more intuitively.

    It's almost impossible to swim with auto-jump turned on. Any forward movement just makes you float up until your above the surface and then bounce forward.

    I would like to echo some other requests for crouching while flying in Creative. This has been missing for far too long. Maybe set it to activate when double-tapping Down while flying similar to double-tapping Up deactivates flying?

    Regarding the actual joystick, I do agree it's a bit large but the opacity setting is very helpful. One change I'd suggest is to have it still respond like the Classic touch movement; when you tap for movement it just starts going. Having to slide to move forward makes quick getaways a bit tricky. I'm sure it would get better with practice but the "touch and go" mechanic already in place is really nice.

    Overall, great potential and I'm really looking forward to it's evolution like I said! Keep it up! ❤️

    Good update, but currently controls are coded so that if you hit a button and then your finger slips off of it, it moves the screen. This can be an issue when holding a button like build. A solution could be making it so the first finger that touches the non button parts of the screen has priority in moving the screen over other fingers. This could also fix the issue that when multiple fingers are on the screen, the screen glitches out sometimes.

    The buttons seem out of place and in my opinion should be at the old position(further down). Also, I don’t like the joystick. It’s a bit hard to steer with it. And in Crosshair mode the attack/left click button makes it unnecessary hard to do combat or break blocks because instead of tapping it anywhere on the screen it’s just a tiny button. But other than the joystick and the attack/break block button the controls are great. Really like the use/right click button

    The touch controls currently do not work even in this new form. We need:

    •A third person button one that we don’t need to go 15 different steps through to trigger it.

    •An interact button for things like throwing snowballs, not holding the screen down for 5mins.

    •A lock button for when in a PvP fight locks the player when in a certain proximity to the other opponent so we don’t have to keep swinging the camera back around with our greasy sweaty fingers.

    There also needs to be a setting where we can move these buttons around for personal preference as it may cover too much of the screen as well as the ability to always have the crosshair on either when holding a ranged weapon or all the time, it’s impossible to aim using non crosshair controls.
    I can’t believe an emote button came first before any of these.
