Updated Touch Controls Feedback [Bedrock Beta]

Hello everyone!   
 
We heard your long-awaited desire for the controls to be updated and now, we are pleased to introduce to you two new WIP controller Interaction Models: 
 
Touch - Like the existing, 'Classic' control scheme on mobile, but with a new touch joystick and updated buttons for jumping, crouching, and sprinting. 

Crosshair - Like Touch, except it feels more like a console experience, allowing players to interact with the world at the point of the crosshair in the middle using action buttons for placement and interaction. 

Please play around with the new Touch and Crosshair controls, including the added settings:  
 
 - Static Joystick - Keeps the Joystick in the same place rather than appearing where your left-thumb touches. 

- Show Action Buttons (Crosshair only) - When off, the (left click / right click) action buttons are removed.  Screen taps function like Touch, except at the point of the crosshair. 

- Sprint on Movement - The sprint button is removed.  Maximum movement on the left thumbstick triggers sprint. 

The team prepared a few short questions and we would love your feedback to help us improve the controls: 

  • What do you like and not like about the new 'Crosshair' control Interaction Model in Creative, Survival, and Server play? 
  • What do you like and not like about the new 'Touch' control Interaction Model in Creative, Survival, and Server play? 
  • How did the controls feel on Touch?  On Crosshair?

    Mojang, please add a second jump button over the joystick, or at least make it optional. I desperately need this in the game! Also, I want to be able to use fireworks in the off-hand so I can fly with my elytra. Thank you for making my favorite game.

    The reason I haven't been playing as much, if at all, is that there isn't an option to customize 'Crosshair' 😓

    I have two main issues.
    1) New controls do not give the ability to crouch in water on blocks. It's really annoying. For example I can't use magma blocks with bubble columns, without getting damage, because I can't crouch.
    2) It would be awesome if players can change the position of buttons

    While the new controls are undoubtably very cool please don't forget to do things like add a pov change button or allow sprinting midair on the classic touch controls. We who love the old dpad and tap controls shouldn't be abandoned!

    Could you make crouch and down swim work at the same time? I was in a magma bubble elevator and when I reached the bottom, I took damage because the game was making me swim down and not crouch at the same time. Otherwise I enjoy the new controls.

    These are GREAT! But maybe you could give us an option to move the buttons around a bit, like if we wanted a joystick in the top left and the jump and sneak in the bottom right or something.
