I think Minecraft should add hollowed-out versions of blocks that can be used for decoration and hidden storage. These blocks would look almost identical to normal blocks on the outside, but have an empty space inside where players could place certain items, such as a chest, barrel, or other small storage block.

8 Stone + Axe → Hollow Block → Insert Chest → Hidden Storage
This would open up a lot of creative building possibilities. Players could create realistic cabinets, desks with drawers, hidden treasure compartments, secret bases, storage walls, and decorative crates that actually function. It would allow builders to keep storage accessible without needing large empty spaces behind walls.
This feature would mainly improve creativity and decoration while also giving players new ways to organize and hide their storage without changing the core gameplay of Minecraft. It would fit naturally with Minecraft’s focus on building, creativity, and player expression.
