For many players, me included, rotten flesh has always been the first thing to throw out in an inventory when you need more space. I'd hope that that can be changed. Now I understand that maybe it was intended to be an item with less uses in the base game, but I feel it could be at least a bit more than that. Rotten flesh could be smelted into leather, used in future crafting recipes, or maybe even (if you wanted to go this far) could be used as a taming item for an upcoming animal. One last thought. (coming from a real-life gardener) I noticed Minecraft doesn't have any bugs, other than the single-pixel lights that float around from firefly bushes. In a future more nature driven update, something like a Venus flytrap could be added, and instead of having it grow with bonemeal, you have to feed it rotten flesh! Just some ideas coming from a very nature-incorporated builder.
