Wood that gives a reason to have axe mining tiers

Pickaxes have different mining tiers that are widely used, so why not axes! how about we add cedar trees that spawn instead of a regular tree every once in a while. Cedar wood would require a wooden pickaxe to successfully mine. also, lets add forests into the end, made with special ender logs that require a stone or iron axe to mine.
