Bane of Arthopods x Smite

(I know this one will be controversial, but thats okay.) Instead of buffing Bane of Arthopods, you could just combine it with smite, or make them be able to be on the same sword together. lets be real, hardly no one willingly just enchants a sword with Bane of Arthopods and is happy about it (unless you're trying to do a spider farm or something) point is, is that most people use axes, or enchant their axe with sharpness, and their sword with either smite, or sharpness. this will make people use swords a lot more, and kind of give them a choice to which they prefer. I know im not explaining it very well, but i hope you can get a idea about what im trying to say
