The Redstone Signal Memory is a new redstone component that can store a specific redstone signal strength (0–15) and later use it as a filter.
It has two modes that can be switched by interacting with the component.
Record Mode (indicator ON): The component stores the last redstone signal strength it receives.
Filter Mode (indicator OFF): Only redstone signals with the stored strength are allowed to pass. Any stronger or weaker signal is blocked.
This would give players much more control over analog redstone without replacing existing components like repeaters or comparators. It would make advanced contraptions more compact and easier to build, including memory circuits, combination locks, signal filters, automatic sorting systems, mini-games, and technical creations.
The Redstone Signal Memory would fit naturally into Minecraft's current redstone system while opening many new possibilities for creative and technical players.
