I propose adding a new rare metal to the Overworld called Wolfram. It is an incredibly heavy and durable endgame material that introduces unique trade-offs between protection, speed, and durability, perfectly balanced against existing Netherite gear
Spawns exclusively in the Overworld. To make hunting for it rewarding, 1.5 Ancient Debris matches the rarity of 1 Wolfram Ore
The ore shares the distinct crystal-like pattern of Emerald Ore but features cold, dark grey and steel tones instead of green
Can only be mined using a Diamond, Netherite, or Wolfram Pickaxe
It is extremely dense. When using an unenchanted Diamond Pickaxe, it takes exactly 15 seconds longer to mine than Ancient Debris
Advanced Smelter: Required to melt Wolfram due to its extreme melting point
It is crafted on a Crafting Table using 1 Furnace, 2 Iron Ingots, and 6 Copper Ingots arranged in the following grid layout
Top Row: Copper Ingot, Copper Ingot, Copper Ingot
Middle Row: Iron Ingot, Furnace, Iron Ingot
Bottom Row: Copper Ingot, Copper Ingot, Copper Ingot
A concentrated fuel source crafted from 4 pieces of Coal. Standard fuel cannot melt Wolfram (only lava bucket and this new fuel can melt it)
+2 Knockback Resistance (x2 of Netherite)
2% chance to absorb full damage (takes 2 durability)
Saves life from 100+ block falls (takes 50 durability)
Full set slows speed by -2.0 (from 10)
Wolfram Velocity book (removes slow) has only 2% spawn rate in Mineshafts, Ancient Cities, Trial Chambers
