I would like to suggest a new Dynamic Block Structures API for Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
Currently, creators can only build moving vehicles using custom entity models. This means ships, trains, and other vehicles cannot be built from real Minecraft blocks, and blocks like chests, furnaces, beds, doors, and redstone lose their functionality.
This API would allow creators to convert a player-built structure into a movable dynamic object while preserving all its blocks and functionality.
Features could include:
- Convert a block structure into a movable entity.
- Built-in physics (movement, collisions, buoyancy).
- Multiple players can walk on the moving structure.
- Functional blocks continue working while moving.
- Full Script API support for engines, steering, animations, and custom mechanics.
- Multiplayer synchronization and performance optimizations.
This would allow creators to build ships, trains, trucks, airships, moving bases, and many other creations entirely from Minecraft blocks, opening a new era of creativity for Bedrock add-ons while remaining fully integrated into the game.
